The CW has renewed its two remaining bubble shows, giving additional seasons to both The Carrie Diaries and Nikita.
With the pickups, the CW has renewed nearly its entire lineup — including Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, Hart of Dixie, Supernatural and Beauty and the Beast. Rookies Cult and Emily Owens, M.D., were canceled earlier this year, while veterans 90210 and Gossip Girl came to a close this season.
The news comes mere hours after the youth-skewing network picked up four dramas to series, including sci-fi entries The 100, Star-Crossed (previously Oxygen), The Tomorrow People and departure Reign, the story of Mary Queen of Scots. Those four will join The Vampire Diaries’ spinoff The Originals on the CW’s 2013-14 schedule.
Episode orders for both series will be announced next week when the CW presents its lineup to Madison Avenue ad buyers in New York.

Fox has cancelled the ever-evolving parenting drama-turned-save the world thriller after two seasons, sources confirm for TVLine.
Touch, the Kiefer Sutherland-fronted series opened Season 2 in February with 3.8 million total viewers and a 1.0 demo rating, down 20 and 23 percent from its freshman finale. At last tally, its penultimate hour did 2.22 mil and a 0.6.

After a week of intense negotiations, a couple of deadlines and best and final offers, Criminal Minds leads Thomas Gibson and Joe Mantegna and co-stars Shemar Moore, Kirsten Vangsness and A.J. Cook have all signed new two-year deals to continue on the veteran CBS crime drama. With the five on board and Criminal Minds showrunner Erica Messer signing a new deal last week, Deadline  find out that CBS has proceeded with a ninth-season renewal for the show.Going into the renegotiations, Vangsness and Cook, who stuck together, sought salary parity with their male counterparts Moore and Matthew Gubler. The two didn’t quite get there but received sizable pay increases.
