Hall 6 is a building located in Herculane a town in Romanian Banat, in Caraş-Severin County, situated in the valley of the Cerna River, between the Mehedinţi Mountains to the east and the Cerna Mountains to the west, elevation 168 meters.
Initially built as the “Great Eating House” burned down in 1900. After that, in 1906 the current building was the last one among the Thermal Spa Arhitecture Ensemble in Hercules Square and of course became the most imposing, even having a hydraulic elevator.
Right now the fate of this amazing building is uncertain, due the political forces who destroyed this city over the years. If somebody among my visitors knows more about this building’s history, please do not hesitate to contact me.
